Counter-thread to all the “”what should I buy”” threads. What’s a tool you bought that turned out to be hot garbage and you wish you had the money back for?
I’ll start: a $400 “”smart”” leak detector that needed a phone app to read the alarm. Phone died on a roof in 105°F. So did the leak detector. Trash.
