Last 3 new construction commercial jobs I walked into for service had BAS that were “”commissioned”” by the controls contractor and were absolute disasters. Sequences that don’t match the prints. Sensors not mapped. Override switches taped over. Trend logs that haven’t recorded since startup.
Is this just the new normal? Or are there still markets where commissioning actually means something?
