To encourage others, especially women, to show that anyone who has the drive to do something can get it done. My goal is to encourage younger people to look at a less traditional path and consider it as an option.

"We got called out to a Mitsubishi system we didn't install. Digging in, I found there were no isolation valves, flare adapters everywhere, and no stand on the outdoor unit. Due to there being no stand, ice had formed after a heavy snowfall, causing the ice to expand and create a leak on the outdoor coil. It wasn't our mess, but I wasn't going to leave it broken. By the time I was done, I had it running at 100% for the customer, avoiding unnecessary warranty costs and restoring heating in the home. Fixing someone else's problem and making it right is the part of this job I love most."
"I always recommend having a positive attitude. Your attitude will dictate how you feel throughout your day, but also will leave a lasting impression on not only customers but employers as well."
Wall of Shame: When I finally started to run PM's on my own, I was sent to service a 460V RTU. When I got there, customer said it hadn't been running. When I got to the roof to start diagnosing, I was checking the low voltage on a contactor when "POP," I crossed the low and high voltage with my meter leads. After replacing the contactor, some blown fuses, and a wild goose chase for a breaker that no one knew existed, I finally got power restored to the unit. Then, it kicked on like nothing ever happened.
