Did my first solo mini-split install last week. Survived. But I made a few mistakes that cost me time (didn’t pre-flare in the shop, fought the wall sleeve, underestimated condensate routing in a finished basement).
For the guys who do these all day — what’s the stuff you wish someone had told you BEFORE your first dozen?
