Walked into one yesterday. Customer reports no cool. Outdoor unit running fine. Indoor blower running fine. Pressures fine. Temp split? Two degrees.
Spent 40 minutes on it. Finally pulled the return grille. Cat had built a nest in the return plenum. A FULL NEST. Insulation, sock, dryer lint, the works. Blocking maybe 70% of the return.
