What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and/or light-commercial HVAC systems — split systems, package units, mini-splits, heat pumps, and air handlers
• Perform preventative maintenance and tune-ups on scheduled service agreements
• Accurately read and interpret electrical, refrigerant, and airflow readings to pinpoint problems
• Recover, recharge, and properly handle refrigerant in compliance with EPA regulations
• Communicate clearly with customers — explain the issue, present repair options, and provide honest recommendations
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards
• Document work orders, parts used, and findings accurately in our dispatch/field software
• Identify and present opportunities for system replacement or maintenance agreements where appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked service vehicle
• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours and emergency calls

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC service and repair experience
• EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred)
• Strong diagnostic skills across a range of equipment brands and ages
• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic instruments confidently
• Comfortable working in attics, on rooftops, and in Florida heat
• Professional, customer-facing communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions

Preferred:

• NATE certification
• Experience with [specific brands you service — e.g., Carrier, Trane, Rheem, Daikin]
• Light-commercial or VRF/VRV experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) — a strong plus in the South Florida market
• Sales-minded approach to maintenance agreements and replacements
